Called It is a social prediction platform where users make public predictions, vote on others' predictions, and build a reputation based on their accuracy. The service is operated by Called It and is accessible at called-it.net.

By creating an account, you confirm you are at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you must have parental consent.

When you post a prediction on Called It, you cannot edit it, delete it, or hide it — whether you were right or wrong. This is not a bug. It is the fundamental design of the platform.

No editing. No deleting. Ever.

Your accuracy is calculated from all predictions you have ever made. By posting a prediction, you accept that it will remain on Called It indefinitely, even if your accuracy score suffers as a result.

The following content is strictly prohibited on Called It and will result in immediate account suspension:

HATE SPEECH & DISCRIMINATION

• Predictions, statements, or content that attack, demean, or dehumanise individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or any other protected characteristic

• Use of racial slurs, ethnic slurs, or language designed to degrade a group of people

• Content that promotes, glorifies, or incites hatred or violence against any group

HARASSMENT & ABUSE

• Targeted harassment of any individual

• Making predictions specifically designed to humiliate, intimidate, or harm a named private individual

• Doxxing — sharing or referencing private personal information about any individual without their consent

• Coordinating with others to harass a single person or group

OFFENSIVE & HARMFUL CONTENT

• Sexually explicit content of any kind

• Content involving minors in any inappropriate context

• Graphic violence or content designed to shock or disturb

• Content that glorifies, promotes, or trivialises self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders

• Content that promotes or trivialises illegal drug use

MISINFORMATION & MANIPULATION

• Predictions designed to deliberately spread false information about real events

• Using Called It to manipulate public opinion through coordinated inauthentic behaviour

• Creating multiple accounts to inflate your accuracy score or suppress others

SPAM & COMMERCIAL ABUSE

• Unsolicited commercial messages or spam through any feature of the platform

• Using Called It to promote products or services without authorisation

• Bot accounts or automated posting of any kind

You may make predictions about public figures (politicians, celebrities, executives, sports personalities) in their public capacity — for example, predicting election outcomes, business decisions, or sporting performance.

You may NOT:

• Make predictions that constitute defamation — false statements of fact presented as predictions about private conduct

• Make predictions about private individuals who have not entered public life

• Make predictions about anyone's health, sexuality, or personal relationships without clear public evidence they are comfortable with such discussion

• Target a specific private individual with repeated predictions designed to harm their reputation

Called It relies on honest resolution of predictions. When you resolve a prediction, you must do so honestly based on what actually happened.

Resolving a prediction incorrectly — marking it as "Called it" when you were wrong, or vice versa — constitutes a breach of these Terms. We reserve the right to correct inaccurate resolutions and adjust accuracy scores accordingly.

We may introduce a community verification system where other users can flag inaccurate resolutions.

We operate a report-based moderation system. Any user can report content that violates these Terms. Reports are reviewed by our team.

Consequences for violations:

• First violation: Warning and content removal

• Second violation: 30-day posting suspension

• Third violation: Permanent account ban

• Severe violations (hate speech, illegal content, harassment): Immediate permanent ban without warning

We reserve the right to remove any content we determine violates these Terms or the spirit of the Called It community, at our sole discretion.

One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent a ban or manipulate accuracy scores is prohibited and will result in all accounts being permanently banned.

Your accuracy score is yours. It represents your public track record on Called It and will be maintained accurately.

We may delete accounts that have been inactive for more than 24 months, with prior email notice. Importantly, your prediction history remains permanently on the platform even if your account is closed — predictions cannot be deleted. Before any account closure, we will email you with the option to download your full prediction history as a CSV file from your Settings page.

Your predictions, votes, and accuracy score are public. Your email address is never displayed publicly.

We collect data necessary to operate the service: your email address, your predictions, your votes, and your accuracy history. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

We use your data to: operate and improve the service, calculate and display your accuracy score, send you notifications about activity on your predictions, and enforce these Terms.

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. Contact us at privacy@called-it.net.

You own your predictions. By posting on Called It, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to display, distribute, and use your predictions for operating and promoting the service.

We may use aggregated, anonymised prediction data for research, commercial data products, and platform improvement without additional consent.

Called It is for entertainment and social purposes. It is not a financial advisory service, a betting platform, or a regulated prediction market. Nothing on Called It constitutes financial, medical, legal, or professional advice.

We are not responsible for the accuracy or reliability of any prediction posted by users. Past prediction accuracy does not guarantee future accuracy.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a notice on the platform. Continued use of Called It after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
